Join Atlanta History Center as we celebrate the opening of Goizueta Children’s Experience! Opening Day will include hands-on interactive activities in the AHC atrium for children, as well as take-home bags with Goizueta Children’s Experience related merchandise.
This experience is included with museum admission.
The Goizueta Children’s Experience – an exciting new, 5,000 square-foot space at the Atlanta History Center where kids can experience the city through play, exploration and storytelling. The immersive and multi-sensory design will delight children from crawlers (ages 1-3 years old) to second graders (ages 6-8 years old). The Goizueta Children’s Experience theme will rotate annually, launching with Our Great Big City, offering visitors a chance to have fun while learning about Atlanta’s many landmarks and history.
Each year, Goizueta Children’s Experience introduces a new theme with exciting new experiences. This year, kids can explore the vibrant “Our Great Big City” theme, rooted in Atlanta’s history, innovative spirit, distinctive geography, and dynamic arts and culture scene. Be sure to visit often for more adventures!

For less than the price of two visits to AHC ($204), families of 2 adults and 2 kids receive unlimited access to Goizueta Children’s Experience and the entire AHC campus for $134.
Members also receive 2 guest passes, discounted Summer Camp registration, free Toddler Storytime and Homeschool Day tickets, and special free programming. Add on an additional Caregiver for $30.

Little Learners Circle: Bonding Through Play
Join us to build a supportive community among caregivers while nurturing your little one’s development in a fun and engaging environment. Designed for infants through age 3 and their caregivers, this program fosters social-emotional, motor, and communication skills through interactive play experiences.

Movin’ & Groovin’
This program invites children to get their wiggles and jiggles out while exploring music and movement. Each session is filled with energetic dance and rhythmic activities, helping kids stay active, express themselves, and have fun in a lively and supportive environment.

Yes, we offer daily programming with topics and age recommendations that vary. These programs are first-come, first serve and may reach capacity.
No, caregivers are required to stay with their child throughout the visit to the museum.
For safety and cleanliness, no food or drinks are permitted inside the exhibition.
We recommend leaving strollers at home or in your vehicle if possible. Limited stroller parking is available for those who need it.
For the safety of our guests, we require that adults are accompanied by children and children by adults while in the exhibition.
You may be asked to wait until the exhibition has room. Feel free to explore our kid-friendly gardens and exhibits!
