Years in the making, this new exhibition will be our largest ever at more than 15,000 square feet, with cutting-edge technology, immersive storytelling, and newly acquired artifacts. It will encompass the Goldstein Gallery (right below the Museum shop) and the reimagined DuBose Gallery, where Turning Point: The American Civil War has been on view since 1996.
After nearly three decades of educating and engaging millions of visitors, Turning Point will close on May 25, 2025, to make way for this next-generation experience, which is set to open in summer 2026.
