Our visitors are an important part of our mission to model relationships of mutual respect.

In order to do so, you agree to refrain from the following:

-Any distracting or unsafe behavior that interferes with other visitors, staff, or volunteers
-Any historical costumes and/or period attire (unless approved by AHC in advance)
-Any violation of museum procedures or policies, including staff requests
-Any acts or conduct in violation of federal, state, or local laws, ordinances, or regulation

By visiting AHC and/or an AHC event, you accept our Rules of Civility. School Tour Agreement*
I have read and agree to the School Tour Agreement
• Atlanta History Center is closed on Mondays.
• Groups consist of 10 or more paying individuals; any group less than 10 is not eligible for this group rate. Additional discounts, memberships, guest passes, coupons, etc. are not valid in combination with the group’s discounted rate.
• School Tours are free for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year.
• At least one group contact must check in with the Education Staff. Groups arriving 10 minutes or more later than the check-in time on their confirmation may forfeit certain activities or components of the tours. There will be no refund for missed tours or activities due to late arrival.
• If a different person is leading the group on the tour date, it is of utmost importance that this person is aware of what tour arrangements have been made. The contact person is responsible for sharing all information with other members of the group.
• Outdoor picnic areas are available on a first come, first served basis. Indoor lunch facilities are not available. In the case of inclement weather, lunches can either be eaten on the bus, or back at school.
• Outside food deliveries are not permitted.
• Guided tours require 1 chaperone (admitted free) per 10 students. Additional chaperones will receive the group rate. There will be a $18 fee for each insufficient chaperone.
