Atlanta History Center offers multi-disciplinary and interactive guided tours for students of all ages that are educational and fun.
Students are given the opportunity to explore various historical time periods, led by expert Education Facilitators, in addition to touring our award-winning exhibitions, historic houses and gardens. Tours are designed to match the state social studies requirements.
Our newest school tours focus on Pre-K to 2nd grade students! Young learners will explore the buildings and places that make Atlanta special, take on the role of a builder to create their own great big city with STEM-based learning, and build essential social skills to be a good neighbor and friend!

Atlanta is often called the cradle of the modern Civil Rights Movement. Step into that time period using this facilitator-led tour that takes students through a variety of interactive experiences, helping them understand the methods, risks, and outcomes of the Civil Rights Movement.
