Travel Trunk drop off and pick up are optional and would cost an additional fee. The delivery fees are broken into four tiers: Tier 1: 1-25 miles roundtrip from AHC is $50 Tier 2: 26-50 miles roundtrip from AHC is $65 Tier 3: 51-75 miles roundtrip from AHC is $75 Tier 4: 76+ miles roundtrip from AHC needs to contact for more details. If the delivery drivers are unable to access your building for trunk pickup/drop off, you will be responsible for fees from our delivery provider. Additionally, please note there is a $15/business day late fee charge.

Travel Trunk Agreement*

• Your Traveling Trunk rental will be confirmed upon receipt of a paid in full balance. Failure to submit payment in a timely manner will void your reservation.

• Your reservation for the Traveling Trunk will be ready for pick-up at the Atlanta History Center Admissions Desk by 4:00 PM and will be due back at the Atlanta History Center Admissions Desk no later than 14 days after your pick-up date.

• If you opt for our delivery service via Roadie, and they are unable to access your building for pick up or drop off during the agreed upon timing, you agree to pay the fees from Roadie.

• If the items contained within the rental trunk, or the trunk itself, are lost or damaged beyond reasonable wear and tear, the renting institution will be invoiced for replacement of these items. Please email Outreach@atlantahistorycenter.com to report any damaged or missing items.

• Trunk(s) must be returned to the Atlanta History Center admissions desk by 4:00pm within 14 days after the pick-up date. If not returned by this date, a late fee of $15 per business day will be charged to the renting institution. The fee does not include weekends.

• $100 per travel trunk for 14 days. Title 1 schools receive 50% off regular rates.

• Full payment is due 3 weeks in advance of the scheduled pick up date. The full payment amount is based on the order summary.

• Payment in full is due by check, or credit card via Square. Please make checks payable to the Atlanta History Center. Payment must be made as one transaction.

• If booking less than 3 weeks in advance, payment is due immediately.

• Please notify us at least 3 days in advance of any changes or cancellations. With advanced notice, your payment can be applied to a new pick up date. Payments are refunded only in the case of school closings.

• If school districts change from face-to-face learning to remote learning, or vice-versa prior to pick up of your trunk, please inform the Atlanta History Center
