An Exploration of Atlanta History Center’s 19th and 20th Century Historic Homes.

Join us as we explore how the Southeast’s largest history museum, Atlanta History Center, was founded and grew into the multi-faceted institution we are today. This experience will focus on the history of three of Atlanta History Center’s historic homes and their surrounding gardens; including the families who built and lived in them; some of the important historic events that occurred while the homes were occupied; how and why the homes were acquired by Atlanta History Center; and how the historic houses are interpreted on our campus today.
