On Wednesday, June 25, join us in the Virginia-Highland neighborhood from 6:30-9:30pm for a bar crawl into the past!
Over the last century, Virginia-Highland has grown into one of the most popular neighborhoods in Atlanta. The area is known for its walkability, trendy shops, and for their legendary legacy bars, including some of the oldest bars in the city!
For one night only, join us for a walk along North Highland Avenue—and through time itself— as we visit four of these bars (Neighbors Pub, Atkins Park, Moe’s and Joe’s, and Georges) and sample how Atlantans through the decades got a drink! Participation is free, registration is strongly encouraged.
Parking and Transportation
There is limited parking available along North Highland Avenue. Due to the nature of this event, Atlanta History Center strongly encourages attendees to rideshare or use public transportation. For more information on train/bus routes and schedules, visit MARTA's website.
This event is in partnership with the Virginia-Highland District.
