On Monday, April 21 from 7-10 pm, you are invited to historic Smith Farm for our first History on the Rocks! Located at Atlanta History Center, Smith Farm is one of the oldest structures in Atlanta and the only farm in the Buckhead neighborhood.
Starting at 7 pm, grab a drink and join us at the farm for a night of live demonstrations of 1860s crafts and a chance to explore. One free drink ticket for a cocktail, mocktail, beer, wine, or soft drink is included with your ticket with additional drinks available for purchase. Claim your spot today!

Create your own soap!
Create your own personalized hand soap using a selection of herbs grown in Smith Farm’s gardens and a goatmilk soap base. While you make your selection of soap ingredients, you can also learn about the historic importance of soap, the various challenges involved in making it on a farm, and the wide variety of fragrant and medicinal plants grown during the 1860s.
Comes with a small, take-home souvenir.

Witness a LIVE blacksmithing demonstration!
Join us at the blacksmith shop and learn about the basics of forging during the 1860s. Smith Farm features a period reconstruction blacksmith shop where a member of our staff uses historic methods to make items for use around the farm. Watch and learn how historic smiths used the coal forge to create tools.
Arrival and Parking
Atlanta History Center has free onsite parking. On arrival, our check-in will be located at the arbor gate adjacent to Atlanta History Center’s main building. Follow signage on arrival.
