Join Atlanta History Center for our third annual Great Swan House Easter Egg Hunt on the beautiful Swan House lawn. This family friendly program includes egg hunts for ages 1-10, a balloon artist, strolling magician, photos with the Easter Bunny, sheep shearing, a credit card bar and more. Members can enjoy a special member only lounge with a credit card bar and children’s craft.

Sheep Shearing at Smith Farm
The sheep are trimmed each spring to remove their thick winter coat in preparation for warm summer weather. New this year we will have a hands-on demonstration on the farm with one of our education facilitators where children can learn about wool carding which prepares the wool for spinning into yarn.

Your event ticket includes admission to all of Atlanta History Center, including the Goizueta Children’s Experience! We want to make sure you and your family have the most fun-filled day and that you’re able to make the most of your visit to Atlanta History Center, so please reserve a timed entry spot for the Children’s Experience when you purchase your Easter Egg Hunt tickets online. That way, your child can play inside and outside, hunt for eggs, and meet the Easter Bunny all in one worry-free day! Without a timed ticket, we cannot guarantee access to the Children’s Experience due to capacity limitations.
Yes, everyone attending needs to reserve a ticket. All children and adults are required to have a ticket to attend this program. Children 3 and under are free, but we require those tickets be reserved with the rest of your party. All tickets for those aged 4 and over, children and adults, are $30 for Not-Yet-Members, $20 for Members, and $10 for Insiders per ticket.
The ticket includes access to the event and admission to Atlanta History Center for the day of the event. The Great Swan House Easter Egg Hunt will feature photos with the Easter Bunny, Egg Hunts for ages 1-10 that will be divided into three age segments (1-3, 4-6, 7-10), balloon artists, a strolling magician, a children’s ride on train, sheep shearing on Smith Farm and other hands-on activities for children of all ages.
Limited parking is available at Atlanta History Center. When our parking is full, please follow directions via staff and signage to street parking nearby. Plan to arrive early to allow time for parking and check in.
This event will move inside the Atlanta History Center Museum. We will notify guests the day before if this event must move inside due to weather.
Food for purchase will be available from Chick fil A, Just Add Honey and Ben & Jerrys Ice Cream during the entire event 9am-12pm.
Easter Egg Hunt festivities conclude at 12 noon. The museum and grounds will be open till 4pm.
