Atlanta History Center will provide schools full access to the designated tour areas. However, additional spaces, exhibitions, historic homes, gardens, and the museum shop will be closed. The outdoor picnic areas are still available for groups that choose to have lunch onsite. • Groups consist of 10 or more paying individuals; any group less than 10 is not eligible for this group rate. Additional discounts, memberships, guest passes, coupons, etc. are not valid in combination with the group’s discounted rate. • A $75 deposit is due 14 days after receiving confirmation. Full payment is due 3 weeks in advance of the scheduled tour date. Any updates to your student count must be made before payment is due. Refunds are not available if the number of students has changed. Added fees for specialty tours, additional experiences, etc. are due as well. • Title I schools receive free guided tours for the 2023-2024 school year, dependent upon availability of grant funding. Each month, availability is limited. • Payment in full is due by pre-collected check or credit card. Please make checks payable to Atlanta History Center. Payment must be made as one transaction. Paying separately per group member is not permitted. In this case, you will not receive the discounted group rate. • If booking less than 3 weeks in advance, full payment is due upon booking. • Please choose tour dates carefully. There is a $25 administrative fee should you need to reschedule your tour. • Your payment is not refundable if you cancel your school tour and do not reschedule. Payments are refunded only in the case of school closures. • At least one group contact must check in with the Education Staff. Groups arriving 10 minutes or more later than the check-in time on their confirmation may forfeit certain activities or components of the tours. There will be no refund for missed tours or activities due to late arrival. • If a different person is leading the group on the tour date, it is of utmost importance that this person is aware of what tour arrangements have been made. The contact person is responsible for sharing all information with other members of the group. • Masks are optional to wear indoors at the Atlanta History Center. However, this is subject to change with state, city, and CDC guidelines. • Outdoor picnic areas are available on a first come, first served basis. Indoor lunch facilities are not available.
