Bring Atlanta History Center to your classroom! Presentations are uniquely designed to be an extension of what students are learning. Each presentation includes background content and activities for students.
Presentations will run for 45 minutes and are only available within a 100-mile round trip from Atlanta History Center. All presentations are designed to match state social studies standards.
Maximum student size will vary depending on the class age group.
Pre-K/ Kindergarten: 20 students or less
1st-12th : 25-30 Students
If you’d like a presentation for a larger class, multiple presentation bookings are available for extra fees.

—Presentations are $100
—$50 for Title I schools
—Mileage fee is 67 cents per mile roundtrip

Learn about the creation of the Declaration of Independence and its three parts.

5th grade, 8th grade, US History
This program focuses on President Franklin D Roosevelt and his connection to the state of Georgia. Students will be transported back in time to learn about his home and rehabilitation center in Warm Springs, as well as the New Deal programs that were created as a result of FDR’s time spent in Georgia.

Learn the untold stories about influential black Georgians such as Alonzo Herndon, Eugene Bullard, Maynard Jackson, Henry “Hank” Aaron, and Charlayne Hunter.
