Atlanta History Center’s Goizueta Gardens is the first botanical garden in the Southeast to plant in the New Perennial Movement in a major way.
Our new Entrance Gardens feature over 15,000 perennials and are designed by Atlanta History Center’s Vice President of Living Collections, Sarah Roberts. The Entrance Gardens are based on the New Perennial Movement and include sweeping matrices of grasses and flowering perennials that seek to redefine traditional aesthetics of a garden and reestablish our connection to nature. Tour the new (and still expanding!) Entrance Gardens; see beautiful and underutilized native plant species; and learn ways to make your garden both natural and visually pleasing. This tour is led by Sarah Carter, Vice President of Goizueta Gardens and Living Collections.
Tour is only offered Monday through Thursday between 10am—5pm.
Up to 20 people per tour, entirely outside, all temperatures, clear skies.
